Government & institutions

Public-sector work, delivered by an accountable MBE partner.

Abel Technologies is certified as a Minority Business Enterprise by New York State and New York City. We pursue public work as a focused channel for our infrastructure and technical services, directly with agencies and alongside prime contractors.

Scope

Defined work packages, not general outsourcing.

We lead with infrastructure and implementation work we can scope precisely, deliver with documentation, and stand behind.

Structured cabling and fiber

Design, installation, testing, labeling and as-built documentation.

WP-02

Network equipment deployment

Staging, installation and commissioning of switching, firewalls and Wi-Fi.

WP-03

Wireless survey and deployment

Coverage planning, access-point installation and verification.

WP-04

Site technology deployment

Coordinated technology scope for a new or renovated facility.

WP-05

Managed network operations

Monitoring, incident handling and lifecycle management for distributed sites.

WP-06

Closeout documentation

Test results, labels, as-builts and configurations packaged for the owner.

Two routes

How agencies and primes work with us.

Route 01

Direct procurement

  • Purchasing through NYC PASSPort and the NYS Contract System
  • A concise capability statement with certifications and scope
  • Conversations with procurement and technical buyers before solicitations are issued
  • Right-sized first engagements with written acceptance criteria

Route 02

With prime contractors

  • General contractors, electrical contractors and public technology integrators
  • Concrete work packages with design, field coordination, commissioning and closeout
  • Written partner agreements and a documented scope of work
  • MBE participation credited according to your contract’s rules

For agency buyers

Buying from a certified MBE.

New York State and New York City both provide streamlined purchasing routes for certified M/WBE firms. They are purchasing ceilings, not entitlements, and every agency applies its own rules.

Compliance first

What we confirm before we bid.

A missed registration or an unpriced wage requirement hurts the buyer as much as the contractor. Every public opportunity passes these gates before we commit.

  1. 01Applicable licenses, registrations and jurisdictions confirmed for the specific scope
  2. 02NYS Department of Labor public work contractor registration, where the work requires it
  3. 03Prevailing wage and certified payroll obligations reviewed, where they apply
  4. 04Insurance certificates, bonding needs and flow-down terms reviewed
  5. 05A documented scope that Abel performs, manages and supervises: a commercially useful function, not a pass-through
